From 2010's sixty-third Cannes Film Festival, Fan Bingbing wore the "Oriental auspicious cloud" Dragon Robe to the press conference of Paris's 2013 autumn winter high fashion week. Li Yugang's "Zhaojun dress" was designed by Wang Zhaojun, one of the four ancient Chinese beauties, and his design was amazing.

Driven by the new international group, Laurence Xu's works again entered the 2015 spring summer high fashion week in Paris this year.

In January 27th, he will take the 30 set of high order dress with Dunhuang art elements in the famous Westin Hotel in Paris, and launch a magnificent picture of China's magnificent, long, deep and magnificent history in the thousand years of the world.

Laurence: Dunhuang is a place with thousands of years of brilliant history and culture and brilliant artistic development. It used to be the most important site on the silk road. It is like a pearl connecting the eastern and Western civilizations. It tells people the bright, brilliant, romantic, golden horse, decay, oblivion and loss of history.

When I was a child, my father often told me the story of Zhang Daqian's copying the murals in Dunhuang. At that time, I didn't know what Dunhuang was, but only the frescoes of flying sky.

But the dream of going to Dunhuang has been hidden in the bottom of my mind.

Last July, I took two assistants to Dunhuang for the first time, and embarked on the road of finding a dream, and gained countless inspiration in a cave murals.

Lingering in grottoes and murals, at that moment, I seemed to pass through the flourishing Tang Dynasty.

I went to every grottoes, and I stood and stared before every murals. I was shocked and moved by the fashion and avant-garde elements on the murals.

On the first night when I returned to Beijing, my heart was not calm for a long time. I told myself that the most beautiful way of Dunhuang frescoes was to stand in the world's highest art palace Paris. I would like to tell and describe the flourishing age with fashion and art, and let the world be moved by Dunhuang.

The theme of this show is divided into two parts: the Northern Wei Dynasty and the prosperous Tang Dynasty. The inspiration of the design is drawn from the frescoes of the Northern Wei Dynasty and the Tang Dynasty in the Mogao Grottoes of Dunhuang.

In the grand show, the model will wear the Dunhuang element dress and walk out of the Millennium Dunhuang frescoes to recreate the flourishing civilization of that era.

At that moment, Paris will indulge in Dunhuang, indulge in the romantic Dunhuang thousands of years ago and indulge in the gorgeous dress of 1000 years ago.

I hope this grand show of Dunhuang can build a fashion stage leading to Paris and the world. Dunhuang on the ancient Silk Road will become a shining pearl in the construction of the "New Silk Road" in Central Asia and Europe, the communication between eastern and Western cultures and Sino French culture. It will further increase the influence of Dunhuang in the world and create Dunhuang, a world where Dunhuang and culture and art intermingled, so that the ancient Dunhuang can shine more brilliantly.
