T-Shirt Asian Inventions

According to a comprehensive report by the world journal, two Asian New York University graduate students have invented T-shirts that can detect air pollution. These high-tech clothes have heart and lung like heat.

Once there is carbon monoxide in the vicinity, blue blood vessels will appear on the heart and lungs.

The report quoted the 19 day news of New York Daily News, pointing out that the student who invented this high-tech product was Lin Lam (Nien Lam) and Wu Su (Sue Ngo, both pliterates). They spent an interactive communication course at the New York School of Arts (Tisch School of Tisch), and developed the concept of products in the subject of "wearable technology".

Lin Nian

"We can't see the internal organs of the body, nor can we see other sources of pollution," he said.

Lin Nian, 32 years old, lives in the west city.

Wu Su, 27, Blue Klinger Greene of Fort, said: "we hope to show harmful sources of pollution through this invention.

It enables us and the people around us to be alert to environmental pollution.

The invention used carbon monoxide sensors with a dime size to detect carbon monoxide emitted from automobiles, factories or secondhand smoke.

The sensor is connected to a program driven microcontroller. After detecting carbon monoxide, the inductor will start the microcontroller to generate the current and flow to the heart and lung shaped heating circuit to make the heart and lung discoloration made of heat sensitive textiles.

Despina Papadopoulos, a professor of the course, said: "their invention is very ingenious, and it is a very perfect plan, which can immediately arouse the topic."

Lin Nian said, "students who smoke outside the classroom see that we are guilty of their guilt."

Wu Su

After she invented the product, she thought of giving up smoking.

She said, "I will never smoke any more."

Their materials cost about 60 dollars, and they hope to produce in a cheaper way, organize large numbers of people to wear this T-shirt and March in the urban area.

They also incorporated wine sensors into their experiments.

Wu Su said, "if you drink alcohol, the sensor will detect alcohol and change the color of the liver."
