Australian Tax Bureau Seeks Cooperation With Private Accounts Receivable Companies Abroad
On November 6th, the Australian Tax Bureau (ATO) was strongly criticized for issuing a letter of intent to a private account company that intends to provide advice for ATO collection.
Geoff (Jeff Lapidos), an official at Australian Services Union (ASU), mocked, "even after 100 years, ATO doesn't know how to collect accounts."

point out
Since July 2013, ATO has laid off 3234 people, and is still the largest layoffs for domestic employers.
ASU, who has always been opposed to layoffs, is worried that ATO's hiring of outsourced businesses will further make Australian taxes and fees inflow into companies that do not comply with the Australian code of conduct for public services.
Since 2006, ATO has recovered some of its debts through cooperation with the relevant consulting companies.
In a letter of intent issued two weeks ago, ATO hoped that a company with a willingness to cooperate would recommend measures to prevent future borrowing and to "radiate services across the country" while making recommendations for collecting accounts and providing other accounts receivable strategies.
ASU is worried that if the private sector accounts for the case,
simple
They also have higher success rates.
Geoff also pointed out that these private enterprises are not subject to the APS code of conduct.
However, a spokesman for ATO said that ATO had a framework of comprehensive governance to ensure that these private enterprises could meet the same requirements as domestic accounts receivable in terms of security, integrity and service quality.
"These institutions should comply with all the requirements and regulations of the federal privacy and safety. They will be supervised by the ATO internal audit function department, the Australian National Audit Office and the federal Commonwealth office.
Regardless of the type and number of accounts receivable
How
The remuneration of the receiving institutions is paid by the piece. "
The spokesman said.
