In March 2019, the volume of outward cotton pportation increased significantly, and by the end of March, the output volume of the cotton in the 2018 year was 1 million 732 thousand and 700 tons, accounting for 33.51% of the output of China Cotton Information Network in 2018 and 5 million 170 thousand tons in Xinjiang.
Among them, the highway accumulatively dispatched 826 thousand and 600 tons, and the railway accumulatively dispatched 906 thousand and 100 tons.
Transportation volume
In March 2019, the total amount of shipped cotton pported 505 thousand and 700 tons, an increase of 350 thousand and 400 tons.
Among them, the shipment by road increased by 67 thousand and 700 tons over the same period.
Xinjiang's professional warehousing and export cotton increased by 25 thousand and 200 tons year-on-year by rail volume, of which 244 thousand and 600 tons of new cotton were shipped in 2018, accounting for 99% of the total railway shipment in March.
In March, the increase in output volume of outbound cotton was a great leap forward.
The reasons for the increase in pport volume generally fall into the following points:
First, textile enterprises continue to replenishment: 3 in late mid month, some textile mills feedback, cotton yarn sales began to pick up, prices rose slightly, and sales increased.
Textile enterprises began to undertake new orders, and began to purchase raw materials.
Second, the price of rail and rail is down: the iron and steel Bureau has increased the proportion of the downward movement of the price of the exported cotton from March 1st, and the average freight rate of the road has continued to decline compared with that of February. The two kinds of pport tariff concessions also help the shipping volume.
It is more advantageous to register warehouse receipts from Xinjiang cotton to the mainland.
It may also be another factor contributing to the growth of cotton.
Two, pport price
On the highway side, the average freight rate of cotton in March continued to decline slightly compared with last month.
The average freight rate from Kuitun to Shandong was 567 yuan / ton, down 52 yuan / ton compared with February, and Korla pported to 569 yuan / ton in Shandong Province, down 41 yuan / ton compared with February.
In terms of railways, since March 1st, the Urumqi Railway Bureau has increased the proportion of floating down to the freight of the pported cotton, and has implemented different downward float standards according to the actual situation of the freight pport centers.
For example, the Kashi cargo center carries out the following preferential standards for downward float: 60 tons of box cars float downward, 20% and 70 tons of box cars float downward 27%.
